MAN COMPLAINS ABOUT HOW GREGGS BUTTER THEIR BREAD
May 28, 2021
A man has complained over how Greggs only butter one piece of bread instead of both pieces.
Chris Davies took his opinion to Facebook on the 18th of May 2021.
He said: “I just find this bizarre and even more bizarre that they can’t butter the other piece even when you request”.
Chris added that he: “Noticed the sandwiches were getting dryer and had to investigate.”
In a reply to the post, Greggs said: “Sorry you’re unhappy with this Chris. We’ll be sure to pass on your suggestion to our Retail Team as we’re always looking to improve.”
Chris followed up his complain by setting up a Facebook group named “Get Greggs to butter both pieces of bread on sandwiches”. The group now has 35 members.
He posted on the group page: “This group is not aimed to disrespect Greggs other products or standard of service or staff in anyway.”
“I still use Greggs but we need to sort out this buttering issue”.

EASING OF COVID RESTRICTIONS IN SCOTLAND
May 17, 2021
Nicola Sturgeon has announced that from Monday the 17th of May, a large majority of council areas within Scotland will move into levels three and two.
This follows the plan which the Scottish Government had laid out in the beginning of March.
As COVID-19 cases and deaths continue to decrease, places like restaurants, pubs, cafes and cinemas can now begin to open their doors to the public.
The rules are also being relaxed in regard to socialising indoors, as of the 17th of May you will now be able to have up to 4 people from 2 different households meet up in a private home or public space.
Travelling restrictions have also been lifted, as of the 26th of April, journeys to different parts of mainland Scotland were allowed.
There are still some restrictions for international travel, as from the most recent update of the traffic light system, only some countries are available to travel to.

SUSPICIOUS MEN IN STIRLING UNIVERSITY CAMPUS
March 9, 2021
There have been various reports on social media from students at the University of Stirling of suspicious men walking around the Airthrey Loch which is located on the University campus.
Reports came from an Instagram page called “uospinboard”, where students send in comments anonymously which are then posted onto the page.
The first report was on 2nd of March, in which the post said: “There’s a really dodgy guy hanging out on the path around the loch, being really weird to everyone walking past. Stay Safe!”.
The admin of the page then commented on the post and said that: “This man is drunk or on something. Be wary if you are in the area”.
One of the men was described by a student as: “Medium build, wears a mask and long beige trench coat”. It was also said that this man was seeing around the Stirling Train station, Chandlers Court and Riverside areas.
A student, who does not want to be named, also said: “I was out on a walk, when I saw a man out the corner of my eye. The man started to get quite close to me, so I started to walk faster as I was scared. The man then matched my pace and continued to follow me until I got to a more crowded area.
Over the past week, more reports have continued to be made to the page of men following and shouting at students walking around the loch.

COVID-19 IN PERU
March 3, 2021
The Peruvian government has lifted COVID-19 restrictions in high-risk areas across the country.
Famous tourist landmarks in the country like Machu Picchu have now re-opened.
This follows threats from the public of national protests, if the government decided to extend the tough quarantine measures for two more weeks.
Mandatory social immobility has been put in place of the COVID-19 restrictions – also known as curfew – which will run from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. every night. This only applies to regions under the “extreme” risk level.
Currently, there are three different levels of alert which are: High, Very High & Extreme.
One Peruvian woman, who did not want to be named, said: “I believe that this is an irrational move out of fear from the government, people are desperate to get back to normality that they forget how easy it is for the vulnerable in Peru to catch this disease, now with the easing of restrictions it is inevitable that more people will have to suffer than before”.
As of now, all ICU beds are overflowing in both private and public health sectors, and there’s a waiting list for oxygen tank refills.
